OTTAWA HILLS — Ada dropped a girls tennis match 3-0 to Ottawa Hills on Tuesday as part of the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association tournament. Ottawa Hills won at second and third singles and first doubles before the match was stopped.

WEST LIBERTY — Ben Logan dropped its volleyball season opener Tuesday night, falling in four sets to West Liberty-Salem. The Raiders were topped 25-13, 25-16, 23-25, 25-12.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Kenton volleyball team took Bellefontaine to five games before falling 19-25, 19-25, 25-20, 26-24, 10-15 in a season-opening match on Monday night.

BELLEFONTAINE — A pair of goals off crosses was all Ben Logan needed to defeat Kenton 2-0 on Saturday in the girls soccer opener for both schools.

BELLEFONTAINE — Kenton fell just short Saturday night in the championship game of the boys soccer Quest Cup held at Benjamin Logan High School. West Liberty-Salem led Kenton 2-0 at halftime and held on for a 3-2 win in the title game.

OTTAWA HILLS — Riverdale seemed as if it was going to go on the road and earn a draw to start the boys soccer season Saturday night. But Ottawa Hills had different ideas.

RAWSON — Ada swept a pair of volleyball matches Saturday to open its season. The Bulldogs defeated Waynesfield-Goshen 25-11, 25-11 and topped host Cory-Rawson 25-11, 25-8.

LIMA — Ada girls tennis finished third out of eight teams Saturday at the Lima City Invitational. Shawnee won the tournament.

SPRINGFIELD — Ben Logan placed 12th out of 20 teams Saturday in the Arrow Invitational at Windy Knoll.

MONTREAT, N.C. — The University of Rio Grande volleyball team rallied from two sets down to defeat Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival Asbury and cap a perfect season-opening day at Friday's Volley in the Mountains Tournament hosted by Montreat College.
