CONTINENTAL — Riverdale’s Coltyn Miller and Continental’s Trevor Williamson combined to stop 18 shots as the teams played to a scoreless draw in a non-conference boys soccer match Saturday. Williamson saved all 11 Riverdale shots on goal, and Miller stopped all seven by Continental.

McGUFFEY — Lehman Catholic defeated Upper Scioto Valley each of the last four years in football by a combined score of 131-32. On Friday night, the Rams had something else in mind — a victory over the Cavaliers. That’s exactly what Upper Scioto Valley got, winning 28-20 in Northwest Central Conference football.

WAYNESFIELD — Hardin Northern moved the ball well on the ground and through the air against Waynesfield-Goshen Friday night, resulting in the team’s third win of the season and their first ever in the Northwest Central Conference.

SPENCERVILLE — Spencerville rushed for 425 yards Friday night as the Bearcats defeated Ada 35-7 in Northwest Conference football. Spencerville (4-0) scored the first 21 points and the last 14.

RIDGEWAY — A runaway second quarter for the Perry football squad left Ridgemont in a 34-point hole at the half, eventually falling to the visiting Commodores 56-7 on Friday night. The loss puts the Golden Gophers at 1-3 overall, 0-2 in Northwest Central Conference play.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Riverdale Falcons went into McComb on Friday night knowing that they were up against a team that had made three straight regional appearances and that they would have their work cut out for them.

TIPP CITY — Tippecanoe scored 62 points in the first half, including 41 in the second quarter and coasted through the second half on the way to a 76-22 rout of Ben Logan in CBC cross-division play on Friday night.

SPRINGFIELD — Northwestern handed Ben Logan its second loss by one stroke, 178-179, in Central Buckeye Conference boys golf Thursday.
