Kenton’s Seth Conover tossed a no-hitter, striking out 12 Hardin Northern batters as the Wildcats cruised to a 16-0 win over the Polar Bears in a nonconference baseball game Thursday.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale blasted Cory-Rawson on Thursday to win a Blanchard Valley Conference softball contest 24-3.

TECUMSEH — Ben Logan’s Konner Caudill threw a two-hitter as the Raiders cruised to an 11-0 victory over Tecumseh in a Central Buckeye Conference baseball game on Thursday.

It seemed as if every time Hardin Northern made a mistake Thursday afternoon, Kenton took advantage of it. The Wildcats (11-8) drew three walks and all those runners scored. The Polar Bears also committed four errors that led to five unearned Kenton runs as the Wildcats earned an 8-6 nonconference softball victory.

ADA — A pair of big innings powered the Kenton baseball team past Ada 12-4 in nonconference action Wednesday. The Wildcats scored five runs in the second inning and four in the fifth.
