ELIDA — The Kenton track teams managed just one first place finish in both the boys and girls meet as they finished third in a triangular with Elida and Ottawa-Glandorf on Tuesday.

DUNKIRK — Hardin Northern scored four runs in the second inning and cruised from there on its way to an 8-1 Northwest Central Conference softball victory over Upper Scioto Valley.

ADA — Alexis Amburgey and Sydney Newland had two RBIs each to lead Ada to a 7-1 Northwest Conference softball victory over Paulding on Monday afternoon.

ADA — Paulding’s Preston Johanns had three hits and five RBIs as the visiting Panthers topped Ada 13-3 in a Northwest Conference baseball game on Monday night.

McGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley and Bath split a dual track meet on Thursday. The Ram boys won 13 events on the way to a 90-45 victory, while the Lady Rams won eight events but were defeated 69-58 in the team competition.

DOLA — Upper Scioto Valley scored six runs in the first inning and had few problems from there on the way to an 11-0 victory over Hardin Northern in a Northwest Central Conference baseball game on Monday afternoon.

URBANA — The Ben Logan softball team found its batting stroke on Monday afternoon, pounding out 13 hits on the way to a 12-2 five-inning win over Central Buckeye Conference foe Urbana.

ARLINGTON — Riverdale rallied to tie Arlington late in Blanchard Valley Conference baseball Monday, but the Red Devils had an answer.

GALION — Kenton won two of the three singles matches and both doubles matches to claim a 4-1 victory over Galion in non-league tennis action on Monday.
