The visiting Bulldogs, ranked fifth in the final AP Division II poll, used their fullcourt pressure as a spark plug in the first half, jumping out to an 11-3 lead before the game was two minutes old.

ADA — With just over a minute remaining in a tie game Friday night, Ada boys basketball coach Chris Sautter wanted his team to hold the ball for the final shot. The Bulldogs ran the time down to 7.5 seconds when they found senior Levi Bass in the corner.

SPRINGFIELD — The Ben Logan boys basketball season came to an end on Friday night as the Raiders fell to Dayton Carroll 61-29 in a boys Division II sectional basketball matchup.

ADA — Ohio Northern couldn’t have gotten off to a much better start Thursday night against Capital in the Ohio Athletic Conference women’s basketball tournament semifinals.

CANTON — Kenton’s Mo Gray and Ada’s Mitchell Wilcox both earned spots in the finals their respective events on the first day of the Ohio High School swimming state championships on Thursday.

DEGRAFF — Riverside made quick work of Hardin Northern on Thursday, building a 27-point lead by halftime en route to a 72-43 victory in a Northwest Central Conference boys basketball matchup.

The Hardin County Heat Cheer team will be putting on a cheerleading and tumbling exhibition on Saturday, March 7 at the Hardin County Family YMCA.
