BL boys run to 5th at own invite, Raiders Widmark 3rd in girls race

BELLEFONTAINE — The host Ben Logan boys were fifth of 12 teams and the Lady Raiders were fifth of eight teams at the Ben Logan Early Bird Cross Country Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Raiders had three runners finish in the top 15, led by Tayte Williamson, who was 12th of 104 runners in 19:29.7. Blake Rhoades was 14th (19:40.6) and Noland King was 15th (19:51.5).

KHS’s Krohmer, R’dale’s Weber fare well at Upper Sandusky icebreaker

UPPER SANDUSKY — Kierra Krohmer was 15th out of 170 runners to lead the way as the Kenton girls cross country team finished fifth out of 14 teams in the Upper Sandusky Icebreaker on Tuesday afternoon. Krohmer finished the 5k course in a time of 21:27.57. Next for the Lady Wildcats was Callie Wright, who was 33rd in a time of 22:18.45.

Fostoria nips KHS girls tennis, 3-2

Fostoria edged Kenton 3-2 in a non-league girls tennis match on Tuesday afternoon. The Wildcats got both of their wins in singles play as Mykaela Schriber was a 6-0, 6-1 victor over Mya Weinerskirch and Grace Collins was a 7-5, 6-3 victor over Maddie Cook.

BL golfers top Urbana

BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan boys golf team defeated Urbana 173-181 at Liberty Hills on Tuesday. For the Raiders, Ethan Ricketts was the medalist with a 36. He was followed by Trey Allen with a 43, Jacob Mitchell with a 46 and Alex Naragon with 48.
