Memorial Park to hold Tuesday ladies league

The Memorial Park Golf Club Tuesday Morning Ladies League will begin another season of golf on May 2. After falling behind in the early innings, the Kenton baseball team gave itself a chance to win during its non-league game with Indian Lake on Wednesday night. While the Wildcats were able to tie the game and send it into extra innings, they weren’t able to answer an Indian Lake run in the bottom of the eighth inning as they fell to the Lakers 5-4.

Gophers top R’side to improve to 2-0

DEGRAFF — Ridgemont got the league portion of its baseball schedule off to a good start on Wednesday, topping Riverside 10-0 in six innings. Mustangs make most of Polar Bear miscues

DOLA — Allen East took advantage of Hardin Northern errors, plating three unearned runs in a 7-4 baseball victory over the Polar Bears on Wednesday afternoon. The game was tied 1-1 after three innings before the Mustangs scored three times in both the top of the third and fourth frames.

ONU softball splits twinbill with Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. — The Ohio Northern softball team handed No. 4-ranked Trine (Ind.) its first loss of the season as the the Polar Bears split a doubleheader with the Thunder on Wednesday afternoon in Angola, Ind. The Polar Bears, who fell 2-0 in the first game before holding on for a 7-6 win in the nightcap, improve to 16-4. The Thunder are now 19-1.
