On December 29th, 2025, the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA), received a request from Glenn Springs Holdings, Inc. to extend the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) post-closure care period for the former Durez site (OHD990747859) site located at 13717 State Route 68 South, Kenton, Ohio, 43326. The original 30-year post-closure period began in 1992, and this 1-year extension request would extend the post-closure care period until December 16th, 2026.
