Ada police investigating death of Allen Co. woman Posted on December 19, 2025 0 ADA — On Nov. 24, 2025, Paula Dirmeyer came to the Ada Police Department to report that she had been assaulted with-in the Village of Ada by a known individual. Police Chief Alec Cooper said officer’s gathered information from her and began an investigation. On Nov. 27, officers were notified by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office that Paula had been found deceased in her rural Allen County home. Her body was transported to Lucas County for a postmortem exam. Cooper announced in a press release on Dec. 18 that this continues to be an ongoing investigation.
