Adding their names Posted on May 6, 2025 0 Kenton Elementary School first graders Ezra Petty (left) and Zoey Coleman take pride in signing their names to the gym floor at the new Kenton Middle School/High School on Monday morning. Both are students in Ms Snider’s class. High school and middle school students signed the concrete on Friday, followed by the KES students Monday, before it is covered with flooring. It continues a tradition at Kenton, as students signed the gym floor when KES was under construction. Superintendent Chad Thrush said it helps to give students a connection to and ownership of the new school. Completion of the school is anticipated in November. Times photo/Tim Thomas
