Anna girls take 2-0 win over R’dale Posted on August 30, 2025 0 ANNA — Unbeaten Anna controlled possession and made enough of it to take a 2-0 victory against Riverdale in a nonconference girls soccer match Tuesday at Anna. The Rockets (4-0) took 28 shots and put 15 of them on goal but could not break through until less than a minute left in the first half when Troi Osborne finally netted a goal. Osborne added an insurance goal with 24:05 remaining in the match, assisted by Adyson Bales. Riverdale (0-2-1) managed only two shots and did not put either on goal, allowing for Allison Staudter to earn a shutout without a save. Ryleigh Howard made 13 saves to keep the Falcons in it. There also was a 5-0 advantage in corner kicks for Anna. Riverdale hosts Kenton at 7 p.m. today.
