Theme baskets, raffles to highlight Immaculate Conception Church Summer Festival on Aug. 11 in Kenton. Standing with some of the baskets to be raffled off are (from left) Kathy Klingelhofer, Lydia Hickey and Mary Dick. Besides the variety of baskets there will be a money ticket raffle with three top prizes of $500. The fun begins at noon with a country store, cake wheel, beer and brats, chicken and noodles and ice cream. Entertainment by Billy Chez Cheese, Dulcimer Society and a forging demonstration. Kids games, facepainting and train rides begin at 2 p.m. Activities conclude at 7 p.m. with the announcement of the raffle and basket winners.
