Limaland Motorsports Park set to begin 89th season in early May

ELIDA — Limaland Motorsports Park is set to begin its 89th season of racing and 27th season under the ownership of the University of Northwestern Ohio on Friday, May 3, 2024. 13 events make up the 2024 season, with no shortage of action for the fans.

Returning in 2024 will be the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds and the Lock Sixteen Thunderstocks under the banner of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series. Drivers and teams in the Modifieds and Thunderstocks will compete not only locally, but also in regional points chases under NASCAR sanctioning.

The Ohio CAT GLSS sprint series will return to Limaland in 2024, Great Lakes Traditional Sprints, the non-wing sprint car series, will also be in action at Limaland.

The always exciting Dirt Track Truck Series will be in action for multiple events during the 2024 season. Andy King has made great strides in developing this great entry level series, and will be fun to watch at Limaland!

The USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets also make their return to Limaland in 2024. With returning stars, and up and coming drivers, the D2 midgets put on some of the best racing around.
