St. Henry gets past Ada

COLDWATER — Ada kept pace early on, but St. Henry pulled away in the second and third quarters for a 75-55 victory over the Bulldogs in a Division IV boys sectional basketball matchup at Coldwater High School on Wednesday. 

Ada led 20-19 after one quarter before the Redskins outscored them 16-8 in the second eight minutes and 25-13 in the third stanza to take a commanding 60-41 lead. 

Cayden Murphy led Ada with a game-high 21 points. Ethan Murphy chipped in with 11 and Carter Conley finished with 10. 

Ada, the No. 12 seed, finishes its season with a 4-19 record,

No. 8 St. Henry, 12-10, advances to face top-seeded New Bremen in the sectional final at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
