Is United Way a local or national organization? While we are affiliated with a national service and training organization, United Way of Hardin County is a local, autonomous organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The Midwest Regional Educational Service Center is offering regional substitute training to be a substitute teacher or classroom assistant. Sessions are planned on Saturday, Jan. 9 at the Kenton Board of Education office; Jan. 16 at the Sidney BOE office and Jan. 23 at Bellefontaine High School. All will run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The members of Goshen Community Grange #578 would like to extend their gratitude to the residents of Goshen Township, Hardin County for their support, once again, of the annual Goshen Community Fund Drive. A total of $3,020 was collected.

FINDLAY – Outdoor enthusiasts interested in learning to prepare and can white-tailed deer meat are encouraged to attend a free informational seminar on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).

Kenton Garden Club met Tuesday evening December 19 at the home of Jane Landsberg at 6 p.m. for a carry-in dinner and Christmas gift exchange. The home was tastefully decorated in keeping with the season.
