The Riverdale FFA Chapter recently had four members travel to Columbus for the 89th annual State FFA Convention. These members included Kohlten Shane, Breanah Shane, Cara Pauley, and Carrol Pauley.

The Village of Ada Tree Commission accepted the Tree City USA award for the 36th year in a ceremony hosted by the community of Lakeside on May 3. The commission also congratulates the work of Terry Keiser and Mark Bricker of Ohio Northern University for earning the Tree Campus USA for the 7th year.

Barbara (Resch) and Donald Halsey of Kenton are celebrating their 50th anniversary. The couple were married May 13, 1967 in Kenton.

U.S. Air Force Airman Jordan T. Cotterman graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Members of the Grant Clover Buds make friends with Jammie. Kenzie Zembower is fostering Jammie who will become a service dog for a child through the “4 Paws for Ability” program.

The Benjamin Logan FFA held its 46th annual banquet on April 22. Guest speaker was Randy Fisher, who discussed his time in the FFA and encouraged the members to be their own person.
