Grandparents are Lonnie and Jennifer Stayman of Kenton, Jennifer and Cotey Stringfellow of Sherwood, Ark., and Matthew Patton of Kenton.

BELLE CENTER — The Belle Center Free Public Library will be hosting a book sale starting on Monday, May 23. The sale will be held during normal business hours, with the exception of May 28 when the hours will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in conjunction with the Belle Center community yard sales.

On May 11, Culture Club met at the home of Marcia Ridenour for installation of officers. Members enjoyed an array of cookies and finger sandwiches before meeting.

The Hardin Memorial Hospital Guild recently held its largest fundraiser, the May Day Brunch (formerly called Spring Luncheon) at Henry’s Restaurant in Kenton. The luncheon tables were decorated with spring lanterns and flower baskets filled with mints.

A Girl's Group is being started for fourth and fifth grade girls to build friendships, create leaders and empower individuality.
