The 88th Ohio FFA State Convention took place in Columbus on May 5-6. Many members of the FFA walked across the stage to receive a variety of awards.

The Silver Creek United Methodist Church held its annual Mother and Daughter Banquet at the church on May 12. Forty-five members and guests were present.

The Epworth United Methodist Women Mother-Daughter Banquet was held May 11 with a covered dish dinner. Pastor Steve Walter gave grace before the meal.

The Wharton First Church of God Mother-Daughter Banquet was held on Saturday, May 7 in the Beech Grove Fellowship Hall at 1 p.m. There were over 55 people that attended the event.

DUNKIRK — The Ohio Northern University HealthWise Mobile Health Clinic will be at the Hardin Northern Community Center on Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon. Pharmacists will be on hand to assist with medication management techniques and address drug interactions and side effects.

The Kenton-OHP FFA chapter visited state convention in Columbus on May 5-6. Kolt Buchenroth was chosen to be a part of the Ohio Ag net to report and record all events of the evening.

ANGOLA, Ind. — Courtney Forsythe of West Mansfield was among more than 250 Trine University recognized at its annual Honors Program on April 29 in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.

Two Kenton High School classmates from the class of 1937 met at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. on April 23 and the decades between their last meeting melted away. John D. Wheeler, of Indianapolis, flew to Washington, DC, on a Honor Flight with his son Ron as his guardian for the trip.
