A Kenton man was placed on community control for five years after he pleaded guilty to a drug charge in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

Farmers in the area will soon have the opportunity to participate in the Conservation Tillage and Technology Conference (CTC), one of the largest agricultural programs in northwestern Ohio.

Robert Temple, 12507 Ohio 309, was stopped in traffic on W. Lima Street at Furney Street facing west. Barry L. Acton, 930 W. Carey St., was westbound on W. Lima Street and failed to stop in time, striking the rear of Temple’s vehicle. Acton was cited for speeding.

Special elections will be held May 5 in Kenton and the Ridgemont School District. The Kenton mayor’s race has prompted the special election in the city. Republican voters will select between incumbent Randy Manns and Councilman Tom Taylor.
