Man convicted of lesser crime in death of dog while hunting A Cridersville man was acquitted of most of the charges against him related to a hunting incident by a jury in a recent Hardin County Common Pleas Court case. According to court documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, David M Deitering was hunting on Nov. 5, 2018 in a wooded area owned by the Shaw family.
