Commissioners given update on Hog Creek farm Construction for the Hog Creek Wind Farm in Washington Township has been in the planning stages since 2007, but is expected to begin before the end of the year. Donald Cochran, a consultant for Renewable Energy Systems America, told the Hardin County Commissioners on Tuesday that plans are to get into the construction phase of the project by December and the project should be complete before the end of 2017. However the five members of council that were present voted to give Safety Service Director Jim Hites permission to contract with LandTech to spray for mosquitos throughout the city to take care of a nuisance that has cropped up since several big rains at the end of June. Marion woman sent to prison for eight years A Marion woman was sent to prison for eight years after being found guilty of charges in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Sheila Lea Campbell of Marion was found guilty of one count each of felonious assault, aggravated burglary and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
