BELLEFONTAINE — Graham defeated Ben Logan 2,691-2,505 in a Central Buckeye Conference bowling match Wednesday night. The Raiders were led by Trevor Boger who had games of 247 and 230 for a career high 477 series.

ADA — After reiterating his team’s goals for the game during halftime, Ohio Northern coach Rich Bensman’s Polar Bears came out firing a barrage of threes in the second half against Wilmington, hitting nine long-range buckets on their way to an 86-65 men’s basketball victory Wednesday night. The win keeps the Polar Bears tied with Marietta atop the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 9-2 mark. They are 11-7 overall. The Quakers drop to 2-9, 7-11.

Wildcats looking for 2nd straight WBL win

A full slate of high school boys basketball action is on the schedule Friday, including Kenton hosting Shawnee as the Wildcats look for their second consecutive Western Buckeye League win. Kenton (8-5 overall and 1-3 in the WBL), snapped a 15-game conference losing streak with a victory over Van Wert last Friday.

Tecumseh outshoots Lady Raiders, 74-44

BELLEFONTAINE — Corinne Thomas hit nine three-pointers and scored 39 points to lead Tecumseh to a 73-44 victory over Ben Logan in a battle of Central Buckeye Conference division leaders Wednesday night. The Arrows, who improve to 16-2 overall and 10-0 in CBC play, led 21-16 after eight minutes before extending their lead to 42-24 by halftime and 50-38 after three quarters.

Lauck lifts Polar Bears over Wilmington in OT

WILMINGTON — Senior Britt Lauck scored with six seconds left in overtime to lift the No. 7-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team to a 62-61 victory at Wilmington on Wednesday night at Raizk Arena. The Polar Bears remain undefeated on the season at 18-0 and now have a 3-game lead in the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season standings with a perfect 11-0 mark.

Polar Bears suffer road loss to Pandora-Gilboa

PANDORA — Pandora-Gilboa took control in the first quarter on the way to a 68-32 victory over Hardin Northern in non-league girls basketball action on Tuesday night. The hosts jumped ahead 22-5 after one quarter and led 34-17 at halftime before putting the game away with a 20-6 advantage in the third eight minutes.
