Fair to wrap up with rain in forecast

0

Hardin County Fairgoers will attempt to dodge raindrops this weekend as the annual event wraps up its six-day run.

Scheduled activities today include a country music concert at 7 p.m. in the grandstand with opening act Brown and Gray and featured performer Dylan Scott.

Rain moved in Friday afternoon to put a damper on fair activities, forcing the cancellation of the tractor and truck pull.

The estimated attendance was 6,188 with a paid gate of 1,105. A year ago the estimated crowd was 9,548 with a paid gate of 1,705.
