grange news report Posted on October 13, 2021 0 Goshen Goshen Grange met with President Daryl Flowers presiding over the meeting with 10 members present. Peggy Cahill discussed things that were needed for the barbecue on Oct. 14. It will be drive thru only this year from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Communications were received from The Blue Star Mothers Pam Bramble, treasurer presented bills and accounts. A motion was presented to pay the bills. Motion passed. Peggy Cahill stated that she had received a Community Service Grant from Thrivent to be applied to The Words for Thirds Dictionary project. Goshen Grange will again be doing the Goshen Community Fund Drive. Kathy Flowers will be getting the forms and address completed. Pam Bramble will be getting postage and envelopes. All members will help with stuffing the envelopes after the next meeting. The program for the evening was planning the coming year activities. The next meeting on Oct. 19 will be the annual wiener roast. Everyone is to bring their own hot dogs buns and s’more items. Jerry Althauser will prepare the fire.
