Pair found shot to death in Hancock county Posted on March 21, 2017 0 FINDLAY — The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the suspicious deaths of a 19-year-old female and a 30-year-old male in Liberty Township. According to a release from the sheriff’s office, a call was received at 7:18 p.m. on Monday, March 20, reporting two people were found shot and possibly deceased at 605 Palm Drive, Liberty Township. Deputies arrived within minutes and verified two persons were deceased at the address. The investigation is ongoing at this time, with names being withheld pending positive identification at autopsy and notification of family members. Based on the initial investigation, it appears there is no threat to the public regarding the incident. The investigation is ongoing with assistance from Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, and more information will be released as the investigation continues and is completed.
