Althouse will begin at noon on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky by the Rev. Jim Stauffer. Friends may call 10 a.m. to noon on Friday.She died on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019 at the Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care, Upper Sandusky. She was born on May 30, 1935 in Harpster to the late Arthur and Nadine (Smith) Mawer. She married Thomas A. Althouse on Sept. 30, 1955 and he died on Dec. 8, 2013.Also surviving are three children, Joe (Cindy) Althouse of Kenton, Amy (Mark) McIntyre of Bellefontaine and Kevin (Tammy) Althouse of Auburn, Indiana; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Roger (Helen) Mawer of Harpster and a sister-in-law, Carol Althouse of Harpster. Linda had been a school bus driver for Ridgedale Schools for many years, along with working at the Steer Barn Restaurant in Upper Sandusky until her retirement.
