Services for Michael Anthony Thomas will be at noon on Saturday at the Hanson-Neely Funeral  Home in Ada by Pastor David Schneer.

Burial will be in the Roundhead Cemetery.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday.

He died on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 7 a.m. at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of Northwest Ohio 6629 Central Avenue #1, Toledo, Ohio 43617 and/or Simon Kenton Schools/Harco Industries 705 North Ida Street, Kenton, Ohio 43326.

He was born on January 3, 1996 in Fairborn to Phyllip R. and Laura L. (Horne) Thomas who survive in Harrod.

His biological parents are Doug Hurley of Centerville and Ann Green of Hawaii.

Also surviving are three brothers, Joshua (Kimberly) Thomas of Urbana, Aaron (Danni) Thomas of Plain City and Chris (Ashley) Thomas of Waynesfield; a sister, Miranda (Jared) Shepherd of Kenton; a half brother, Alec; three half-sisters, Vanessa Hurley of Miamisburg, Sabrina Hurley of Miamisburg and Kalyssa Hurley of Centerville; paternal grandmother, Mary Thomas of Harrod; maternal grandparents: Earl and Kay Horne of Belle Center; maternal great-grandmother, Elsie Horne of Kenton; biological maternal grandparents, Ben Pruitt of Dayton and Ann Breitenstein of Dayton; biological paternal grandparents: Steve and Linda Hurley of Xenia and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Michael was a member of the Victory Chapel of Praise of rural Harrod.

He was a graduate of Maumee Youth Center, Liberty Center and an honorary graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School in 2014.

Michael attended Simon Kenton School from 1998 to 2009.
