Services for Thomas L. “Tom” Williams, 74 will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24 at the Hanson-Neely Funeral and Cremation Services in Ada by Pastor Doug Flinn. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada. 

 The funeral service for Tom will be live streamed on the Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral and Cremation Services Facebook Page beginning at 11 a.m. 

Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  Thursday and one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Friday. The family recommends face coverings to be worn while attending visitation and service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ada Academic Boosters.

He died at 12:36 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021 at Lima Memorial Health System. 

 He was born on July 21, 1947 in Kenton to the late Roy L. and Carey W. (Crawford) Williams. On Sept. 30, 1969 Tom married Judy C. Harps and she survives in Ada.  

Also surviving are his children, Dwayne Whitehurst of Denham Springs, La., Brian Williams of Vandalia, Scott (Christina) Williams of Haslet, Texas, Tony (Pamela) Williams of Perrysburg and Shantel Whitehurst Williams of Ada; fourteen grandchildren, Niki, Courtney, Jacob, Jason, Daniel, Leah, Alex, Brett, Lee, Dee, T.J., Madeline, Sammy and Siren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry (Karen) Williams of Lititz, Pa. and Jack (Jo) Williams of Ada and special people, Trey and Rachael James and children.  

He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Williams and three grandsons.

Tom was a lifelong farmer and retired from BP Chemical.  

He was a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Kenton.
