President Jeff Schulman called the weekly meeting of the Ada Kiwanis Club to order at 12:01 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16 in the Dean’s Heritage Room, McIntosh Center, Ohio Northern University, Ada. The invocation was offered by Jon Umphress.

The Elks Ladies Card Club met on Jan. 21, with beautiful bells decorating the luncheon tables. Sharon Weaver was hostess for Bridge.

The 1994 Riders met on Feb 5 at 7:30 p.m. with 17 members and one guest present. Meeting was called to order by President Harold Sexton, with Tony Losh, Sgt. At Arms presenting.

AMVETS Post 1994, 417 W. Espy St., Kenton is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat fish dinner on Friday, Feb. 19. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and dinner from 5 to 7 p.m.

A memorial service for Donna K. Lunce will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5 at the First United Methodist Church in Kenton. Burial will be at a later date at Grove Cemetery, Kenton.

Services for Francie “Bob” Scott Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton by Pastor Scott Johnson. Burial with military rites will follow in Grove Cemetery.

Age, 101 formerly of Kenton Services for Ruby L. Heckathorn will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow in Tymochee Cemetery, Marseilles.

A celebration of life for Ada J. “Granny” Bowermaster will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home in Kenton. A private graveside memorial service will be at the Raymond Cemetery at a later date.

Services for Evelyn Smith will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky by the Rev. Joe Trester. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.
