Hardin Memorial Hospital’s Board of Trustees began their meeting last week by approving past minutes and the consent agenda which consisted of the Finance and Audit Committee and Quality of Care Committee reports.

ADA — Ohio Northern University will host a panel discussion concerning the Netflix documentary series “Making a Murderer” in the McIntosh Activities Room on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. A five-person panel of ONU professors will address student questions about specific events, actions and themes portrayed in the show, and compare them with industry best practices and scientific research.

Services for Lewis E. Walton will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Bringman Clark Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky by the Rev. Richard VanHorn. Burial will follow in the Smithville Cemetery, rural Upper Sandusky.

There will be no services for Terry Allen Cramer. He died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at his residence.

Services for Barbara E. Weihrauch will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jenera by the Rev. Alois Schmitzer III. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A suspicious vehicle was reported on Lima Street. An accident was reported in front of the post office on W. Franklin St.

A Kenton woman was placed on community control after she pleaded guilty to charges in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Haley McKenzie Hayter, 431 E. Carrol St., Kenton, pleaded guilty to one count each of possession of heroin and tampering with evidence.
