Red Cross responds to Levings Street fire

Volunteers with the American Red Cross of Hardin County responded to a home Sunday on Levings Street in Kenton. Red Cross volunteers Daryl Flowers and Amy Huber responded to the call for help at the home and provided the family of three, one adult and two children, with temporary shelter and assistance for immediate needs such as food and clothing.

Mayor updates council on meeting

DUNKIRK — Mayor Terry Cramer gave her report on the county-wide mayors meeting to the Dunkirk Council at its regular meeting Monday evening. Cramer informed council that at the meeting, the mayors heard from representatives of Swartz, a disaster cleanup company looking to work with the towns and villages in the county.
