The Lynn Township trustees will have a year-end meeting on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the township hall. Immediately following the meeting, the trustees will reorganize for the coming year and appropriations will be presented for the trustees to review. The January meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 8 at the township hall.

FRIDAY, DEC. 29 Dudley Township trustees – 9 a.m., township hall; year-end meeting

Kenton city offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.

There will be an emergency meeting of the Council of the Village of Alger at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Village Office to discuss funds for the Streets Department.

TUESDAY, DEC. 26 Southeast Hardin Northwest Union Joint Fire District – 6 p.m., fire station; special meeting to discuss year-end activity

Five people will be interviewed next month for two openings on Kenton City Council, it was announced Thursday night at council’s final regular meeting for 2017. Teresa Styer is leaving her 1st Ward seat after representing the city’s southeast quadrant for the past six years.

FOREST —  Jackson Township Trustees reorganizational meeting will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the township building. The regular meeting normally held the third Tuesday of the month will be held Tuesday, January 23 at 7 p.m.

ADA — The Ada Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 9 a.m. in the library on January 8 for its reorganization meeting. The regular January board meeting will follow.
