DUNKIRK — Caring for a special needs child of her own, Beth Bell is looking to provide a different kind of service to the special needs community. Bell is the owner of Not an Ordinary Place at 240 S. Walnut St. in Dunkirk, a location that serves as an adult day habilitation for those with special needs.

The Board of Directors of The Home Savings and Loan Company of Kenton (HSLC), at its June 26 meeting, promoted Joel E. Althauser and Jean E. Huffer to the positions of Senior Vice Presidents. Althauser is the bank’s Chief Lending Officer and Huffer is HSLC’s Chief Financial Officer.
