FOREST — For a while, it seemed like the village of Forest was going to see good financial times. Village Administrator Wes Davis reported to the town’s Community Improvement Corporation Wednesday that negotiations had progressed between a private owner and a Honda parts supplier. Through last summer, said Davis, the village was told to prepare for a factory.

The Easter House Bed and Breakfast in Ada was recognized as the Business of the Year on Wednesday night at the annual dinner of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce.

Home Town Media Ltd, a company owned and operated by a small group of investors including the local Haushalter family, has officially purchased WKTN radio from Radio General LTD. The company began operation of WKTN on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
