LIMA — First Choice Credit Union of Coldwater and Superior Credit Union of Lima have announced plans to combine their operations. Under the arrangement, First Choice Credit Union will integrate its $16 million in assets and 2,000 members with Superior, which has $630 million in assets and 63,500 members.

A meeting of Kenton City Council’s Management, Organization and Personnel Committee set for Friday morning has been canceled. A new date has not been announced.

For the fourth consecutive year, Kenton City Schools will close for the Hardin County Fair after it begins the next academic year. The board of education adopted a calendar for the 2017-18 school year at its meeting Monday night.
