Liberty National Bank has created two new officer positions, announced Ronald L. Zimmerly Jr., President and CEO, and its board of directors.

Jayme Minix has recently been named Director of Hardin County Hospice. Minix has been a visiting nurse for Hardin County Hospice since June of 2007.

The regular meeting of the Pleasant Township Board of Trustees will be Monday, Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. rather than the usual time of 6:30 p.m. It will be in the conference room at the Kenton Municipal Building.

ALGER — The Alger Public Library Board of Trustees’ December meeting will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. at the library. In January, monthly meetings will return to their regular schedule of every fourth Tuesday. The public is welcome to attend these meetings.

The Jackson-Forest Ambulance District Board will meet in emergency session at noon on Monday at the Hardin County Prosecutor’s Office to make a decision regarding a tax levy.

A public meeting regarding the proposed new Kenton-Hardin Health Department fees for 2016 is set for 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 at the health department.

BELLEFONTAINE — Mary Rutan Hospital is easing the transition from hospital to home with their new bedside prescription delivery service. Patients can now have their prescriptions filled and delivered directly to their hospital room prior to being discharged, eliminating the often inconvenient extra stop between hospital and home.
