Former funeral director finds calling in the ministry

After spending several years as a funeral director, Mike Armentrout felt a calling to be in the ministry. He decided to follow that calling and is now the minister for Kenton’s First Christian Church. Armentrout has been a Christian his whole life, but prior to his calling, he was what he calls a “nominal Christian.”

Mt. Victory Church of Christ gets new pastor

MOUNT VICTORY — James Evans will be taking over the pastor duties at the Mount Victory Church of Christ. Evans and his wife, Lena, live in Kenton where they served in various ministries at the First Baptist Church, including Sunday School teacher, Praise Team and deacon.
