WOOSTER — Wheat growers across Ohio whose plants are at or near the flowering growth stage are at a moderate to high risk for Fusarium head blight development, said a wheat expert from the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at The Ohio State University.

Benjamin Logan FFA Secretary Darby Eades accepts a $1,000 grant and plaque from Logan County Electric Cooperative employee Ashley Oakley through the company’s Operation Round Up program. Eades and FFA adviser Lora James presented the project to the LCED board.

PERI Chapter 34 Hardin County met Wednesday, June 3 at the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office meeting room in Kenton. There were 87 people in attendance.
