Residents at Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center in Kenton enjoyed a St. Patrick’s Day party in the dinning room.

A noon meal is served for people ages 60 and older at the Hardin County Council on Aging in Kenton, 419-673-1102, at 11:30 a.m. weekdays.

Elizabeth and Krane Stahler of Kenton are parents of a 6-pound, 7.2-ounce, 21-inch boy, Brantley Daniel, born at 4:57 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2015 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine.

The Keep Hardin County Beautiful held its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 10 at Henry's Restaurant at noon. Normal business matters were discussed and community events announced.

The Fortnightly Literary Club met at the home of Kay Doll On Friday, March 13. President Jean Bruner opened the business meeting with a poem called “Earliest Spring,” and an Irish blessing to mark the closeness of St. Patrick's Day.

An Ohio Boating Education Course will be offered in two sessions on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14 at the Findlay Fire Department, 7047 CR 236, Findlay from 5 to 9 p.m.

Pawsitive Pals of Hardin County is sponsoring sub lunches to support the county’s new animal shelter and dogs.

President Ann Frisch welcomed 15 members of Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Intl. on March 7 at 10 a.m. at the Forest-Jackson Public Library. The group was served a light brunch by hostesses Martha Cramer, Lynn Knoble, and Lori Paul. Frisch thanked them for the wonderful arrangements.

The Hardin County Homemakers Council announced their annual Spring Achievement Day and Cultural Arts Show will be March 31 at the First Baptist Church, 11543 CR 175 Kenton.
