The American Red Cross Kenton Community Blood Drive was held on Monday, May 18 at the First Baptist Church, County Road 175, Kenton, and collected 35 productive units. A total of 39 donors signed in.

Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center celebrated National Nursing Home Week May 10-16. Family members were invited to a Mother’s Day Open House of fellowship and fun.

A noon meal is served for people ages 60 and older at the Hardin County Council on Aging in Kenton, 419-673-1102, at 11:30 a.m. weekdays.

The Hardin County Republican Women met May 20 at the Republican headquarters. The meeting was presided over by President Merrilee Rogers, who called the meeting to order.

WILMINGTON, Ohio — Catlin M. Pauley of Kenton posted a 4.0 grade point average to be named to the Wilmington College Dean’s List for the 2015 spring semester. She is a senior majoring in agriculture.

The Lupus Foundation of America, Greater Ohio Chapter will host its monthly lupus support group in Lima from 7 to 8 p.m. June 15 at Crossroads Church of God, 775 S. Thayer Road. The support group is an open, small-group environment that encourages discussion among lupus patients and their families.
