ADA — The Ohio Northern University Gospel Ensemble, with special guests the Philippian Missionary Baptist Church Choir of Lima and the Toledo Youth Choir, will perform its annual spring concert in the Bear Cave in McIntosh Center on Sunday, April 12 at 4 p.m.

The three Soroptimist International Clubs of Kenton-Hardin County, Hancock County Area, and Lima met on March 26 at Ohio Northern University of Ada. They met for the “Celebration of Women” dinner and awards at McIntosh Center that began at 6 p.m.

Eldon Prater and the former Helen Dunson are celebrating their 55th anniversary. The couple were married April 3, 1960 at the Blanchard River Church of Christ. They are the parents of two daughters, Shari and Gina, and one granddaughter, Amber. They also have three great-grandchildren, Aundrea, Jaylinn and Kaiden.

April is designated as National BLT Sandwich Month. This popular sandwich is believed to have started back during the Victorian age.

The Jumbo Jr. Farmers 4-H Club met on Monday, March 30. Twenty-one members, nine parents and three advisors were in attendance.
