The Fortnightly Literary Club met at the home of Kay Doll On Friday, March 13. President Jean Bruner opened the business meeting with a poem called “Earliest Spring,” and an Irish blessing to mark the closeness of St. Patrick's Day.

Pawsitive Pals of Hardin County is sponsoring sub lunches to support the county’s new animal shelter and dogs.

Keep Hardin County Beautiful received a Keep America Beautiful President’s Circle Award at the annual Keep America Beautiful (KAB) National Awards Dinner, held during the recent 2015 KAB National Conference in Washington, D.C.
