Hardin Northern Elementary School has named its March Students of the Month.

The Ada Kiwanis Club met in a joint meeting with the Ada Rotary Club on Tuesday, March 31 at noon at the Ohio Northern University Inn, Ada.

Friends of the Alger Public Library (FrAPL) will hold their monthly Crockpot Socials this quarter on April 23, May 28 and June 25 at the Alger Public Library at 6:30 p.m.

Hardin Northern High School will present Rogers and Hammersteins’ “Cinderella” this weekend. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Kortney Ann Kin and Benjamin Charles Buckland are announcing their engagement and upcoming marriage. Kortney is the daughter of Philip and Jalene Kin of Upper Sandusky.

The Hardin County Republican Women met Wednesday, March 18 at the Republican Headquarters. The meeting was presided over by President Merrilee Rogers, who called the meeting to order and led the group in the pledge of allegiance.

The University Club II has awarded its 2015 scholarship to Shelby Ann Stump.

ADA — Tara McBride, an attorney who practices in Columbus, will discuss her personal experiences as a member of the transgender community and speak on other lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues in the Ohio Northern University McIntosh Ballroom on Wednesday, April 8 at 7 p.m.

CANTON — Katlyn Marie Snider of Mount Blanchard, an early childhood education major from Malone University, has been named to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
