Fatal crash scene A Kenton man was killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 68, about four miles north of Kenton. The victim, Joseph Wayne Hoey, 45, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a release from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office. Read More

Lady ‘Cats pull away from Marion Harding in second half The Marion Harding girls basketball team came into its game against Kenton on Tuesday night with just four wins in 13 games and on a five-game losing streak. While on paper it may have looked to be an easy game for Kenton, it did not prove to be that way on the court as the visiting Prexies stayed within three points into the fourth quarter before the Lady Wildcats were able to pull away late for a 58-49 victory. Crash site A vehicle slid off the snow-covered Ohio 31, just south of Mount Victory, and crashed into an electrical pole owned by American Electrical Power on Monday afternoon.
