Kenton High School will stage the musical, “Little Women” this weekend at the Kenton Middle School auditorium. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

FOREST — The Forest CIC paid tribute to the oldest continually operating business in its community at its meeting on Wednesday. For 70 years, the McBride Furniture Village has been an anchor to the Forest community, said CIC president Jeff Knedler.

In early 1993, a group of people gathered to discuss how to cultivate new leadership in Hardin County. They came up with a format for a nine-month leadership training program they named Hardin Leadership, but were unsure how long it would last.

DOLA — The Hardin Northern Fall Sports Awards Banquet was held on Monday night with athletes that participated in football, volleyball, cross country and cheerleading receiving special awards.
