Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser suffered minor injuries when a high speed pursuit involving a Lima man and the Ohio State Highway Patrol ended in a collision with his patrol car Tuesday afternoon on Ohio 309 about three miles west of the city.

McGUFFEY — The pilot program started at Upper Scioto Valley and two other districts this year to train students in workforce skills is growing by leaps and bounds. Superintendent Dennis Recker told the board of education Monday evening USV, Indian Lake and Fairlawn will be joined this fall by another 15 districts in the Straight A Grant.

Students at Kenton Elementary School get a closer look at Riley, the main character in the puppet show entitled “Riley’s Adventure.” The production was presented by the Keep Toledo and Lucas County Beautiful organization and emphasized the importance of “reducing, reusing and recycling.”
