About 40 members of the driving club made the trip to Ada from Tiffin, which is where the group is staying this week during the club’s annual hub tour where members meet in a location and then tour different cities in the area.

Silver Creek center comes back to life for ‘Nature Day’

The Silver Creek Center for Environmental Studies provided educational opportunities for area school age youth on a regular from 1986-2001. Due to budget reductions over the years, the center’s operator, the Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District district, was forced to eliminate an educational specialist and the programs fell by the wayside in the early 2000s.
