A Kenton man was found guilty of drug-related charges and sent to prison in a recent case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Brad Franklin Jacques, 616 Robinson Ave., Kenton, was sentenced to seven months in prison after he was found guilty of possession of heroin.

ADA — Dr. Keith F. Durkin, Ohio Northern University professor of sociology, will serve as data analyst and program evaluator for the Hardin County Juvenile Court to facilitate the provision of behavioral health services to post-adjucated youth ages 12-17 who have mental health disorders.

The Hardin County Recorder’s Office reported the following transactions for August:

Chelsey M. Montgomery, 509 W. Gage St., Forest – speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25. Jessie L. Risner, 940 Wilson St., Kenton – speeding 53 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25.

Erik Grimslid, 509 W. North St., Ada – speeding 67 mph in a 50 mph zone, fined $25. Robert B. Bogart, Houston – speeding 68 mph in a 55 mph zone, fined $25.

A 17-year-old female for assured clear distance ahead, court ordered: carteens, 60-day license suspension with work/school privileges, and fined $35. A 16-year-old female for failure to control, court ordered: carteens, 30-day license suspension, and fined $35.

A Kenton man was sent to prison for three years after he was found guilty of one charge of aggravated burglary in a case heard in Hardin County Commons Plea Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Joshua Owen Spradling, 425 Vine St., Kenton, pleaded guilty to the single count.

Namal Nader T. Yoakim, Lima – speeding 51 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25.

A Kenton man had additional prison time added to his earlier sentences during proceedings in Hardin County Commons Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Randy Henry Crum, 8539 CR 150, Kenton, pleaded guilty to one count each of possession of drugs and tampering with evidence.
