Judge to rule on attorney conflict in attempted murder case Judge Scott Barrett is being asked to decide if a conflict of interest will keep a Marion attorney from representing a Roundhead man in an attempted murder case. Ada man pleads guilty to rape, four additional charges A rural Ada man is facing the likelihood of spending the rest of his life in prison after pleading guilty in Hardin County Common Pleas Court earlier this week to five sex charges involving his own children. Motions attempt to change participants in Sheldon case With the jury trial of Gerrick Anthony Sheldon slated to begin in less than a month, motions were filed in Hardin County Common Pleas Court in an attempt to change some of the major participants in the case. Sheldon, 41, of 3010 CR130 in Roundhead Township, is facing multiple charges including two counts of complicity to attempt to commit aggravated murder and four charges of complicity to commit aggravated arson after he allegedly attempted to solicit his minor son to set fire to the residence of his wife and stepson. Restaurant trip leads to three years in prison for Kentonite A trip to Taco Bell with his daughter resulted in a Kenton man going to prison for three years.
