A former band instructor is claiming the sex-related charges against him for texting explicit messages to a minor should be dismissed because the charges violate his freedom of speech. Dennis L. A Kenton woman was returned to prison for another eight months after she pleaded guilty to a charge of escape in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Rachael J. McGrath had been released from prison on Aug. 8, 2016 and placed on supervision with the Adult Parole Authority for one year.

When law enforcement officers went to Ryan Cutlip’s Kenton apartment in November last year, they were expecting to arrest him on an outstanding warrant from Wyandot County. But when the officers entered Cutlip’s residence at 655 East St., Apt. 34, they discovered small amounts of cocaine and heroin.
